RV Water Softener & System Questions

The questions that come up most, answered plainly. If yours is not here, the phone is faster than a form.

Before you reach out.

What does the H2O Simplified system do?

It combines an RV water softener with filtration for the connected onboard supply and a dedicated DI stage for the final exterior rinse. The system is configured for the service bay and uses a patent-pending design.

How is it different from a portable RV water softener?

A standalone portable softener reduces hardness. H2O Simplified adds filtration and a dedicated spot-free rinse in an installed unit. Both need regeneration and regular service. Compare the two approaches.

Does the installed softener need salt and regeneration?

Yes. The softener still needs regeneration, and the filter and DI resin need service. Follow the instructions for your configuration. The owner walkthrough includes softener regeneration and DI resin replacement.

Does a water softener make the final rinse spot-free?

Softening reduces calcium and magnesium but leaves dissolved salts in the water. The separate DI stage supplies low-TDS rinse water for a clean exterior. Remove soap and dirt before the final rinse, and monitor the DI output.

Can I use it at any campground or marina?

Use a potable fresh-water source within the operating limits for your installation. Inlet hardness and water use affect capacity and service intervals. The system is not a disinfectant or seawater desalination system, and it does not make an unsafe supply safe.

What rigs can it fit?

Motorhomes, boats and several trailer or commercial applications can be reviewed. Actual fit depends on bay dimensions, plumbing access and water demand. See the RV system page for the installation requirements.

Where is the system installed?

It is configured for the exterior service bay, with accessible controls and treatment equipment. See the installation photographs and installation guide.

Is there a warranty or guarantee?

We stand behind the installation: if your final rinse is not visibly spot-free after install, we make it right. Ask for the written warranty coverage and exclusions for your quoted configuration.

How much does an installed RV system cost?

Each system is quoted for the rig and installation. Send your coach details and bay measurements or call (314) 280-3253. Ask about equipment and installation costs, plus ongoing consumables. See how pricing works.
